The Architectural Services Department (ARCHSD), Hong Kong Government has commissioned Olivine Engineering Pte Ltd, in collaboration with Avant-Garde de Studio, to conceptualise and design one of the first Musical Fountain Show in Hong Kong. The scope of work involves the design of water features, including computer rendered perspectives, drawings and animation and tender documents for the proposed music fountain at Kwun Tong Promenade, Hong Kong. It also includes the supervision during the construction phase as well.
The site is a very prominent location, facing the Cruise Center, formerly the Kai Tak Airport.
Kwun Tong Promenade is catered for all walks of people and in line with this intent, Avant-Garde has designed a unique fountain attraction that will provide entertainment and attraction to all walks of people. The fountain show design is sophisticated and fun consisting of high tech Animatronic Water Jets, all synchronised with music and lights. There will also be interactive play fountains to engage the children.
